Weigh in: Week twelve! Vacation didn't defeat me!

I lost 2.2 pounds this week (who said you can't lose on vacation?!?) which makes me 43.4 pounds lighter! I am seven pounds away from fifty and my mom has lost 12 pounds, my dad has lost 29 and me 43.4 so all together that makes 84.4 pounds lost and we have about sixteen pounds to go and we will be 100 pounds lighter as a family. That is exciting! I'm so glad that it isn't just me getting healthy, it's my family too.

My spring break weeked!

Hello everybody!

I came back from Vacation with my friends on Sunday and we left on a Friday. Me and four of my friends went to a waterpark and I had an amazing time but I was afraid of going over and falling into temptation and back into bad habits (I guess the scale can be the judge of that on Thursday) but I thought I did the best I could.

On Friday, we arrived at the waterpark like eight that night and I hadn't ate anything other then snack food like I took an apple with me and I had pretzels filled with peanut butter for protein and I was held over for a while but I was getting hungry around six or seven. As soon as we got there, we put our bathing suits on and started swimming and the parked closed at ten that night. So we got back to the room at like 9:40 and the adults that went with us said they was going to get some food from the store and would be back. They didn't get back till twelve that night but I was hungry and knew I had to eat something before bed. It was either between making a peanut butter and jelly or a bologna sandwich. I had a peanut butter and jelly that day for lunch and they got full fat bread, jelly and all that and the bologna was 90 calories and the peanut was about 200 calories for 2 tbsp, so I thought that would be my best bet and they had chips and ranch dip but I had some cheerios I brought for a snack and I had half a cup as a side with it which was 60 calories and the sandwich was 230 so it was 290 for my dinner that night and I was still under about 70 calories that day, so I was pretty happy for that day.

On Saturday, we woke up and we wanted to grab something quick instead of waiting for somebody to make us breakfast so everybody else made peanut butter and jelly sandwich and I brought oatmeal with my bag of snacks and made that. It was yummy and kept me full and was only 130 and I was glad because we had planned on eating out that night and wanted a low breakfast.

 
 
So we swam for a couple hours which is good exercise and walked up a bunch of stairs to ride water rides and our room wasn't really far from the waterpark just done some stairs and a long hallway and we walked that thing a bunch.



After swimming, we ate lunch which was Spaghetti, she had made a huge pot of it and it didn't have enough sauce but we was all hungry and wanted some food. I couldn't just eat it like that, it was not flavorful and I need something else with it and I made a piece of toast with it. I had a small bowl of spaghetti and toast and then we all took showers and got ready so we could go shopping and eat and we decided to go Dick's Last Resort.
 

 
 
We got deep fried pickles as an appetizer and I ate maybe about ten? I looked on the website before I went there so I could figure out what to eat and they had Firecracker Salmon. It had a piece of Salmon with some kind of corn with peppers and rice as the side. I ate my salmon but I really didn't eat my sides because the salmon filled me up. So we went shopping and I bought a Carmel apple and a chocolate covered strawberry. I brought the Carmel apple back to my mom for us to share and I ate my strawberry. We went go carting after that and the seat belt didn't fit me so he moved me to another one and had to get something that made it bigger. (it made me sad that known of my other friends had to do that but I'm working on that so I don't have to go through that again) and I had lots of fun doing that and about eleven that night we was heading back to a hotel and they wanted to do a late night taco bell run. The old Allie inside me was screaming "YES! Taco bell! you have to get everything on the menu! FOURTHMEAL! FOURTHMEAL!" but I wanted something because I thought I had done good today and I was on vacation and a little hungry and I never get Taco bell and they have good options there so I got some. Sue me! Haha
I got one of those like dollar grillers that had buffalo chicken in it and it was around 300 something and I ate about half of it and I fell asleep as soon as we got back to the hotel. I was so tuckered out!
 
 
 
 
On Sunday, which was our last day. We woke up and I was going to make me some more oatmeal and before I could they told me they was making pancakes and said not to eat anything. So they made pancakes and they were some big ones so I ate one and I knew that if I just ate that I was going to be just eating some carbs and not getting any protein to fill me up and they made some fried bologna which I had never tried and didn't even know if I would like it but I ate some anyway for protein to keep me full for at least till we ate lunch and I was hoping for that anyway but by the time it was 1. Everybody was starved to death. That was the hungriest I had been since I had started my new lifestyle change. We decided to eat at Five Guys and if anybody has never ate at Five Guys, you are missing out BIG TIME. Me and my family like worship that place like no joke. It's better to go when you aren't on a diet so you can pig out but that was the place I really felt like I was cheating when we went on Sunday so I guess you could say Sunday was my cheat day (I usually have like a cupcake or something sweet as one of my cheat foods but I don't think I had ate a big meal like this since January).  I got a little cheeseburger which by the way is still huge and the burger was 550 which isn't bad and I got grilled onions and grilled jalapenos which said on the Five Guys website said was about 13 calories. I mentioned that we get a large fry because their large fry feeds about four people and I felt like if we had community fries that I would eat less but everybody said they was starving and didn't want to share. Well they had never been to five guys and they didn't realize their huge portions and got like regular size fries and they didn't get anywhere near to finishing the bag. So I got a little fry which was enough I could have halved it with two people, so I ate about all my fries and a burger, and had lemonade which was 5 calories each 8 oz and about 2 tbsp of ketchup and it was about 800 calories. I felt bad that is was that much but it was so worth it and it was so yummy and I wasn't hungry for a long time and on the way back home I ate a tiny bit of cheerios but that was about all I had that day.
 
So that was my spring break weekend and I have all this week off so I hope I'll be posting on this blog.

Random fact.

I reallllllllllllllllyyyyyy hate bathing suits.

& if you love bathing suits then you probably don't have a ounce of fat on your body and if you are wondering why I am wearing a bathing suit, for spring break I'm going to a Waterpark with my friends and everybody will be in a bathing suit. Ugh, I just really hate them but I'm not about messing opportunities. I just have to forget about what people think and enjoy myself.

Weigh in: Week eleven

I lost 1.6 pounds this week which means I have lost 41.2 pounds! I am so excited even though its just a pound, I'm so happy I have broke into the forties! I'm leaving tomorrow for my spring break with my friends. I'll put pics on here. I hope everybody is having an amazing day!!(:

Weigh in: week ten and my spring break! (:

I lost 2.8 pounds this week so that makes it 39.6. That's so close to 40 and next weekend, for my spring break I am going to a waterpark with some of my friends. I'm so excited but then again I am nervous. I will just have to be careful with my eating but I'll be swimming and running around all day but it's vacation! I am going to enjoy it and lose on it but I hope everybody has a good day and will have a good spring break. (:

App of the month.

I missed February app of the month. So I saw this app on Pinterest on and I decided to download it. It's called Charity Miles and every mile you walk, run, or ride your bike. You give 25 cents to the charity of your choice. I did the first charity that was on there and it was Feeding America and I walked 2.622 miles and I feed five people. I was so happy with that and I really felt good that I was helping somebody and I was working out and I burned 313 calories. This was a really good app and I hope you can help yourself and somebody else.

A little motivation..

Everybody needs a little motivation and this week if I lose four pounds, I will be forty pounds lighter and at one time, the most I have ever lost was forty and everybody just needs some motivation and I guess you can say I'm a little scared but I know I will get through it and probably by the time I lose about fifty, I won't be a freaked out and that I can do this. My lunch I have planned for the week.

This is my lunch I have planned for the week. I know it says Pizza Hut again but I didn't go to school Wednesday so I'll be having that this Wednesday.

What I did yesterday, microwave potato chips, and 70 pounds? What?

             I just thought I would tell everybody about my Saturday. I went shopping with my mom and we shopped and ate at Red Lobster and exercised without even realizing it. We went to Red Lobster and I got Shrimp Tacos and my mom got Snow Crab legs and hers was 490 with corn and potatoes. It said on the website and looked at the Shrimp Tacos and it said it was 580 for Grilled Shrimp Tacos. 580 calories still wasn't bad but it had a Jalapeno creamy ranch sauce that was about 200 calories for a tbsp so I didn't eat that and it came with a Cilantro Slaw which was good but I just ate a little bit and it also came with pico de gallo which was 10 calories. I told them to put everything on the side and I got a baked potato which was 200 and didn't eat any butter or sour cream because their baked potatoes are SO GOOD! I love them so much and I had one Cheddar Bay biscuit which was 150 calories. So I came with three shrimp tacos and I just put a little bit of Cilantro Slaw and Pico De Gallo, a baked potato, and a cheddar bay biscuit all of it together was about 670 and I have to saw the shrimp tacos were wonderful. I will be making some at home soon or going back to Red Lobster for some. We also got some frozen yogurt from Sweet Frog and for 4oz of Cheesecake yogurt was about 110 and we got like 9oz and we had about an ounce of strawberries on it and we shared it. So I said I ate about 150 calories (just to be on the safe side) and I got an app that tells me how longed I walked and it said that we walked about an hour and 20 minutes so I burnt 358 calories and I am super excited about something I bought!

In the microwave you can make your own potato chips.
You slice them up and put them on top of the thing with all the circles.
and they are done in about 2 minutes.

I put some salt and buffalo popcorn seasoning on them and they are yummy.
and I also make a bunch of popcorn ate one time and just get some popcorn kernels and put them in a bowl and put a plate over top of it and it doesn't have any added stuff you don't know about and I put some salt and that buffalo popcorn seasoning on it and you can have a cup of popcorn for 31 calories. It's spicy and when I want a snack, it really feels my craving for something crunchy and it's popcorn?!? Why wouldn't you love it!
 
I also thought I would say that between my mom, my dad and myself. My dad has lost 23 pounds, my mom has lost 11 and I have lost 36.8 and all together we have lost 70.8 pounds all together!

Catching up!

For losing 30 pounds, I got my hair done like I said a while back I wanted to do and I got it done Wednesday and what should I do for Forty?!? I need some new tennis shoes and I want a new IPhone case but I don't know what else to get or put on my list. I need suggestions and on this Friday, I didn't have school and I worked out for 46 minutes and burned 366 on Wii Fit and I don't know if anybody did this but on the Super Bowl, Papa John's did a free pizza if you picked heads or tails and it was heads and that is what I picked and they sent me an email for a free large 1 topping pizza and that is what I am having for dinner, we are getting thin crust with banana peppers and an order of wings. Chicken wings are like 150 for two and each slice of pizza is like 230. I don't eat out a lot. For the past 9 weeks, I have had Subway, McDonald's, Panera Bread, Salsarita's. All of those places have low calorie options and I have just ate out once at those places and this will be the first time I have had pizza that we haven't made at the house. I just feel that eating at your own house and knowing what is going into your food will help you lose weight but you can't always eat at the house but restaurants are making it a lot easier and showing their nutrition.
